Your Yacht Charter Starts in Antibes, France
This 7-day luxury yacht charter begins in Antibes, the French Riviera’s classic superyacht hub, and traces a route through glamorous St. Tropez and Pampelonne Beach before crossing to Corsica and the La Maddalena archipelago in northern Sardinia.
The journey blends Riviera nightlife and fine dining with wild anchorages, quiet bays, and clear water ideal for swimming and water sports—perfect for those seeking both high-energy ports and serene escapes.
Day 1. Antibes to Nice, Théoule-sur-Mer and St. Tropez
Your yacht charter starts in Antibes, where you’ll board your yacht and head out along the Côte d’Azur. A quick stop near Nice gives you the chance to settle in, maybe swim, or take in the views from the deck.
From there, cruise around the red cliffs of Théoule-sur-Mer—a quiet stretch of coast with clear water and very few crowds. By late afternoon, you’ll anchor off St. Tropez, where the energy picks up and the options open wide.
We Recommend:
- Lunch onboard while anchored off Théoule for peace and quiet before the scene picks up.
- Late afternoon tender into St. Tropez for drinks and people-watching at Sénéquier or Dior des Lices.
- Dinner at Le Quai or L’Opéra if you want a lively atmosphere—or stay onboard for something quieter with a view of the old port.
Day 2. St Tropez to Pampelonne Beach
Your day starts with a short cruise to Pampelonne Bay, home to some of the Riviera’s most iconic beach clubs. The anchorage is spacious and protected, with easy tender access straight to the action.
Spend the day between deck and shore, then return to St. Tropez in time for an evening in town or something slower back on board.
We Recommend:
- Daybeds at Club 55, Gigi, or Loulou—we can reserve in advance.
- Water toys out in the bay: Seabobs, paddleboards, or just an easy swim.
- Back in St. Tropez, light drinks at Bar du Port or a full dinner at La Petite Plage.
Day 3. St Tropez to Elba Bay and Roccapina
This is the big cruise—and something to look forward to. There’s a real sense of freedom in being out on the open sea, where it’s just you, the horizon, and the sound of the boat cutting through water.
Elba Bay is your first stop, a quiet spot with open water and good light for a mid-morning swim or breakfast on deck.
Then on to Roccapina—a scenic anchorage marked by granite cliffs and a white sand crescent, you can have almost to yourself.
We Recommend:
- Swimming or snorkeling in the clear water around Roccapina.
- Afternoon hike up to the Lion de Roccapina rock formation for wide coastal views.
- Dinner onboard, timed with sunset—this is one of the most private anchorages on the route.
Day 4. Roccapina to Isola Santa Maria to Porto Rafael
On day 4, you reach northern Sardinia, anchoring near Isola Santa Maria in the La Maddalena group. It’s a peaceful, low-traffic area with brilliant water and small coves.
Later, head south to Porto Rafael—an upscale, low-key village with a small harbor and whitewashed villas.
We Recommend:
- Tender around the island for swims in shallow turquoise spots.
- Shore visit to Porto Rafael for coffee, aperitivo, or art galleries.
- Quiet dinner on board with a Sardinian wine pairing.
Day 5. Porto Rafael to Porto Palma and the Lavezzi Archipelago
- Get out the snorkeling gear and Seabobs—the water clarity is some of the best on the route.
- Shore picnic or champagne setup on one of the smooth rock outcrops.
- Sunset drinks on deck while the archipelago empties out.
Day 6. Lavezzi Isands to Isola Marmorata, Isola Giardinelli and Cala Liccia
On day 6, you will cruise back into the Maddalena group, stopping at Isola Marmorata and Giardinelli—quiet, protected anchorages ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and exploring by tender.
In the afternoon, continue to Cala Liccia, a more secluded bay for a peaceful end to the day.
We Recommend:
- Midday stop near Giardinelli with lunch on the swim platform.
- Paddle or swim into shore at Cala Liccia.
- Dinner onboard, or ask the crew for a wine tasting setup on deck
Day 7. Cala Liccia to Cala di Volpe
Your day starts with a short cruise to Cala di Volpe, one of the most iconic anchorages on the Costa Smeralda. The bay is wide and elegant, with views of the Cala di Volpe Hotel and the surrounding coastline.
Disembarkation is seamless here, with easy access to onward transfers or extended stays nearby.
We Recommend:
- Early morning swim or breakfast on deck with a final view of the Costa Smeralda.
- If time allows, a long lunch or spa appointment at the Cala di Volpe Hotel before your next destination.
- For guests continuing their holiday in Sardinia, we can arrange private transfers or tailored add-ons—beach clubs, wine tastings, or countryside stays.
