A crewed charter in the French Riviera typically ranges from €50,000 to €500,000+ per week, depending on the yacht size and season.
All yacht charters in France are plus expenses, which means you can add:
- VAT (usually 20%)
- APA (30–40% for running costs)
- crew gratuity (10–15%).
Motor yachts and superyachts cost more — especially during peak events like the Monaco Grand Prix.
When is the best time to charter a yacht on the French Riviera?
May to September is the ideal charter season.
That’s when the weather is best and the biggest events (Cannes Film Festival, Monaco GP) happen. Yachts book out early for those, so we recommend planning 6–12 months ahead.
What are the best departure points for a motor yacht charter on the French Riviera?
Cannes and Antibes are the main hubs for motor yachts and superyachts.
