A yacht as your ILTM base
ILTM Cannes runs from Monday 30 November to Thursday 3 December 2026 at the Palais des Festivals, where luxury travel brands meet advisors from around the world. ILTM runs on scheduled appointments, and the conversations that matter often continue afterwards. A chartered yacht in the Vieux Port gives you a private setting a few minutes from the Palais, for the meetings you do not want in a booth and the dinners that follow. It is also the quietest point in the Riviera year, which makes this the cheapest of the Cannes shows to charter for by a wide margin.Why charter a yacht at ILTM Cannes?
- Meetings beyond your appointment schedule. Somewhere private to continue a conversation that a 15 minute booth slot cannot finish.
- Dinners for your key advisors. A table you control, with your own chef, rather than a restaurant booking in a fully committed city.
- A brand setting, not a stand. For a luxury travel brand, hosting on a yacht says more about the product than any amount of stand design.
- Accommodation walking distance from the Palais. Cabins for your team at a price fixed months ahead.
- The cheapest Cannes show to charter for. Late season pricing, when the Riviera fleet is otherwise finished for the year.
Where the yacht sits, and why it decides everything
Berth position matters more at ILTM Cannes than the yacht itself. There are two realistic options and they suit different budgets.
Vieux Port, Yacht Row
Jetee Albert Edouard sits directly beside the Palais des Festivals. Delegates walk past on the way in and out of the show, which makes your yacht a visible part of your presence rather than somewhere guests have to be taken. It is the most limited and most expensive position in Cannes, and the first to be committed.
Port Canto
About 20 minutes on foot along the Croisette, or a short taxi. Noticeably better value, and a sensible choice when the yacht is a working base for meetings and dinners rather than a branded shop window.
If your reason for chartering is visibility, Yacht Row is the only answer and you need to book early. If it is space and privacy, Port Canto does the same job for less.
How many guests you can actually host
This is the detail first-time corporate charterers get wrong, and it changes which yacht you need. There are two formats with very different limits.
Cruising charter: 12 guests
A crewed yacht operating under a commercial charter license caps cruising guests at 12, however large the yacht is. A 50 meter yacht with room for 40 at a dockside reception still cannot take more than 12 people out to sea. Best for a small executive group, a working lunch on the water, or private accommodation during the show.
Static charter: far more
Alongside the quay, the yacht is an event venue rather than a vessel under way, and the numbers change completely. Depending on the yacht and the port permit, that runs from roughly 15 to 20 guests up to several hundred. Best for a buyer reception, a brand showcase, or an evening for your top advisors.
Decide your guest count and format before you start shortlisting yachts. The two lead to different boats.
What a ILTM Cannes charter costs
The honest answer is that it depends on format and size more than on the week itself. A useful anchor: static hospitality yachts of around 40 meters commonly run about EUR 150,000 for a week.
The real range is wider. A smaller yacht used mainly for meetings can start near EUR 20,000 for the week. The largest static superyachts on Yacht Row run into the millions. What moves the number most is size, static versus cruising, the berth, and how much of the budget goes to full hospitality and catering rather than a simple meeting setup.

The December advantage
ILTM falls at the very end of the Riviera season, when most of the fleet has finished for the year. Owners who are still available are open to business they would turn down in summer, so this is the softest pricing of any Cannes show. If budget is the deciding factor, this is the one where a yacht competes directly with a hotel suite.
When to start
For a late November show, we would start in the early summer before. That gives you a real choice of yacht and a genuine shot at a Vieux Port berth.
ILTM is smaller than MIPIM or Cannes Lions, so the pressure on berths is lower and later enquiries are more often workable. That said, the yachts still in the water in December are a shorter list than in high season, so the constraint moves from berths to boats.

Can we charter a yacht for just one evening of ILTM?
Yes, and it is common. A single evening reception is far cheaper than the full week, and because ILTM sits at the end of the season there is usually more flexibility than at the summer shows.
How many guests can we host on a yacht during ILTM?
Twelve if the yacht is cruising. Alongside the quay as a static event, the same yacht can host roughly 15 to 20 guests up to several hundred, depending on the yacht and its port permit.
Where do yachts moor during ILTM Cannes?
Vieux Port, beside the Palais des Festivals, is the prime position. Port Canto is around 20 minutes on foot and better value. Berth pressure is lower at ILTM than at the bigger spring and summer shows.
Is December too late in the year to charter on the Riviera?
For an event charter alongside the quay, no. Much of the fleet has finished cruising for the season, which is exactly why rates are at their softest. The yacht is a venue rather than a cruising boat, so the weather matters far less.
