Sanlorenzo Yacht Charter in the South of France: Cost and the Yacht We Recommend

A crewed Sanlorenzo in the South of France costs about €142,500 a week in high season at the standard we recommend, from €80,000, plus APA and VAT. A 100 to 129 footer runs about €142,000, and the superyachts of 165 feet and up €294,000 to €1,000,000.

The 60 to 99 footers run about €40,500 to €65,000 a week. We count 78 Sanlorenzos cruising the French Riviera, 64 of them built since 2015, and 17 are listed on this site.

Which Sanlorenzo yachts can you charter in the South of France?

Sanlorenzo was founded in 1958 near Florence and builds semi-custom motor yachts and superyachts at Ameglia, La Spezia and Viareggio. The Riviera has one of the larger Sanlorenzo charter fleets we list.

The Sanlorenzos cruising the French Riviera fall into five sizes:

  • 60 to 79 feet: eight yachts at about €40,500 a week.
  • 80 to 99 feet: 37 yachts, the most common size, for eight guests, at about €65,000 a week.
  • 100 to 129 feet: 18 yachts for ten guests, at about €142,000 a week. This is where we recommend starting for a fully crewed week.
  • 130 to 164 feet: eight yachts at about €222,500 a week.
  • 165 feet and up: seven superyachts for twelve guests, at about €330,000 a week.

High-season weekly rates of the Sanlorenzos in our catalogue that cruise the French Riviera, built 2000 or later, October 2026. Not every yacht is listed online, so ask us about any size here and we will quote it.

The APA, usually 30 to 40% on a motor yacht, and VAT come on top. VAT is 20% under a standard MYBA contract and lower under an ECPY contract, and our APA guide explains both.

For a fully crewed week on the Riviera we recommend motor yachts from €80,000. Below that, a crewed catamaran usually gives a better week, and our catamaran charters page lists them.
