8 Best Luxury Catamarans to Charter on the French Riviera

In this region, most of our clients come from villa holidays or motor yacht charters. They’re not here to rough it — they want comfort, space, proper service, and a layout that makes sense. These catamarans deliver exactly that.

Every yacht on this list is crewed, well-run, and proven to work for Med charters. They have real cabins for every guest, saloons that don’t feel like compromises, and crews that consistently get top reviews. Some are better for couples, others for families. Some sail well. Some don’t try to. But they all hold up to the level clients expect in the South of France.

OKINAWA

Okinawa fills a niche we get constant requests for: a modern catamaran with 5 equal double cabins for 5 couples. At 59ft, she’s one of the few yachts in this range where everyone gets the same size room, with no awkward master vs. guest setup. For adult groups who want to charter together and split the cost fairly, this layout just makes sense.

She’s brand new (2024), and we’ve already booked her: our clients came back with raving feedback about the crew, the food, and how comfortable the yacht felt throughout the week. Chef Chrystelle stands out — French-trained, experienced, and it shows.

At €42K/week for 10 guests, she’s better value than most five-star resorts, and instead of hotel rooms, you get full-service crew, a floating villa, privacy, and daily changing views. For clients who care about fairness, comfort, and shared experiences, Okinawa is exactly the right fit.

JACK

Jack is one of the few sailing catamarans in the Med that doesn’t make you choose between performance and luxury, she does both, properly. Most charter cats either sail well or look good at anchor. Jack does 10 knots cruising, up to 18 knots when conditions are right, and still delivers a full luxury experience onboard. That’s rare.

She’s a 76ft McConaghy with a hydraulic centreboard that gives real upwind performance and lets you anchor close in when retracted. The layout is smart: 4 equal queen cabins for 8 guests, no master vs guest setup, ideal for couples sharing. Inside, it’s clean, modern, and high-spec, without any wasted space or gimmicks.

Captain Morgan Hayes has twice circumnavigated the globe on private cats, he’s exactly the kind of skipper you want if you care about sailing, safety, and running a smooth program. If your clients want a yacht that actually sails, without giving up comfort, Jack is one of the strongest options in the region.

CARTOUCHE

We were onboard Cartouche in Sanremo, and she immediately stood out for one simple reason, she’s 95 feet. That makes her one of the largest sailing catamarans in the Med, and you feel it. There’s more space everywhere: on deck, in the saloon, in the cabins, and yet she charters for less than many 80ft Sunreefs in the €90–100K range. That’s serious value.

The flybridge is one of her strongest features: big, clean layout with a proper jacuzzi, not just a token spa tub. She was built in 2011 but refitted recently, and it shows, modern finish, fresh feel, but without losing the solid build quality of that earlier generation. She sails better than most cats her size, which makes her a great option if your group actually wants to do some sailing between anchorages instead of motoring all week.

This is a good fit for clients who want space and comfort but aren’t trying to pay motor yacht rates. For 8 guests, you’re getting a lot of yacht, and it works well whether you’re cruising the Riviera or hopping across to Corsica.

MANET ET NOCTE

Manet et Nocte is a great fit for families with young kids. She’s a 78ft Lagoon with a master cabin, 2 doubles, and a fourth cabin with two singles plus two pullmans. That last setup isn’t ideal for couples, but it works really well for siblings or younger guests sharing a cabin.

The master is a highlight: it has a private fold-down balcony, so you can step straight out of bed and into the sea, or just sit quietly by the water for a coffee in the morning. She was built in 2021 and refit in 2025, so she’s in great shape, with a clean, modern interior.

We see her as a solid choice for family charters around Corsica, Sardinia or the Côte d’Azur, where calm anchorages and shorter hops between ports make her easy to enjoy. Not the most flexible layout for adult groups, but for the right setup, she works really well.

ARKTOS

Arktos is built for clients who expect superyacht-level comfort but want the space and ease of a catamaran. She’s a brand-new 78ft Lagoon (2025), and everything about her setup, from the guest flow to the service level, feels high-end and deliberate.

The master cabin is a real highlight, with its own private fold-down balcony and swim ladder. You can step straight out of bed and into the sea, or sit there in complete privacy while the rest of the boat is still waking up.

What makes her layout smart is the galley-down configuration. Most Lagoons put the kitchen in the saloon; here, that space is used for a proper lounge and a full bar setup, which changes the vibe entirely. It’s quieter, more private, and better for hosting.

She’s a strong fit for families who want new build quality, polished service, and a more refined take on catamaran cruising in the Riviera or Corsica. If you are used to luxury villa or resort holidays, Arktos meets that standard,  just with a much better view.

SIETE MARES

We’ve been onboard Siete Mares in the BVI, but she now charters summers in the Western Med, Sardinia, Corsica, and available for the South of France. She’s proven. In 2025, she won four awards including Best in Show (62–80ft), plus runner-up for Best Crew. Those are based on real charter service, not just looks.

The crew is tight and switched-on. The hostess, Sarai, won the tablescaping competition with a Nordic design that was unique and honestly memorable. That attention to detail shows up across the board: food, presentation, guest care, and it’s consistent.

Layout is what you’d expect from a recent Lagoon: comfortable, guest-friendly, with good deck access, and the shallow draft makes her well-suited for anchorages around southern Corsica or tucked-in spots along the Riviera coast. If you want a reliable charter experience with a crew that genuinely delivers, this is a solid bet.

MANTA

We saw Manta in Sanremo, and it’s one of the most complete high-end power cats we’ve come across. Unlike most cats on the charter market, she’s a power catamaran, no sails, and that makes a big difference. She cruises comfortably at 13 knots and can push 17, which means she’s faster than most sailing cats at 7-9 knots and even matches some displacement motor yachts. If you want to cover some distance — Nice to St Tropez, or down to Corsica — she makes that possible without sacrificing time.

She also has serious volume. Her 12.22m beam gives you wide-open interiors, a full open-plan galley, and a flybridge that actually feels built for hosting, not just lounging. There’s gym gear on deck, and one of the crew is a certified personal trainer, which is a great bonus for active guests.

The layout is smart too: 2 cabins convert from twins to doubles, so she works equally well for four couples or a family setup. We put her forward to clients who like the motor yacht experience but want the space and stability of a catamaran, she really does bridge that gap.

HALCYON

Halcyon is our top choice for French Riviera, Italian and Corsica/Sardinia cruising because she delivers superyacht‑level luxury in a catamaran package, and in practice, that translates into a better experience than many motor yachts in the same bracket. She’s an 80ft Sunreef (2024), and this model has become the benchmark for high‑end luxury cats for a reason.

Space is where she immediately separates herself: the social areas don’t feel like “boat rooms,” they feel like big living spaces – a true floating villa. The cabins are generous too, with a comfortable master and three full VIPs, and the galley‑down arrangement gives you extra salon space and privacy, which makes evenings and lounging far more relaxed.

We’ve chartered her and will continue to offer her to our clients without hesitation. She has a very impressive track record of happy clients, raving about the yacht, the crew, and the overall experience.

She also comes with a solid toy package, including a jet ski, efoil, and toys and floats that work for all ages, so whether your group is all adults or mixed with kids, there’s something for everyone.
