They exist, but they are genuinely scarce here, and that surprises people coming from the Caribbean or Greece. The Riviera market is motor-yacht dominated: berths are premium, distances are short, and demand skews to fast motor yachts and superyachts, so relatively few crewed catamarans are based on the coast.
What that means in practice: the good crewed cats book out early, so if a catamaran is your heart’s choice, inquire well ahead and stay flexible on dates. Often a power catamaran or a smaller motor yacht delivers the same space-and-stability brief with far more availability.
