Almost no luxury motor yachts are based in Corsica. The boats worth chartering come down from the Riviera and Liguria or get delivered to Olbia for EUR 3,000 to 10,000, and just 1 yacht on this page, LEON in Ajaccio, actually lives on the island. Knowing which yachts make the trip, and what the trip costs, is the whole game, and it is what we do.
Below are the 10 we would shortlist first for a Corsica week, with where each boat is really based, so you know whether she starts in Ajaccio, in Olbia, or down from Antibes. Prices are low season starting rates plus expenses; the money section after the list covers VAT and delivery, where the right contract saves real money.

Broker insight
If you want a good motor yacht for Corsica, you take her from Portofino, the South of France, or Monaco and cruise down, or you have her delivered. Very few are based on the island, and the boats sitting in Olbia are the smaller ones. Free delivery exists but it is rare, so plan for the fee and start with the yachts that already run this circuit every summer.

1. LEON
The only one actually based in Corsica
LEON is the only yacht on this page that lives in Corsica: she is based in Ajaccio with a Corsican crew, so the week starts on the island with no delivery fee, and her 23 knot cruise puts Bonifacio, Lavezzi, and Sardinia’s Maddalena archipelago within a few hours. She is a Ferretti 800, refitted in 2025, and unusually quick for a 24m flybridge at 32 to 33 knots flat out.
8 guests sleep in 4 cabins around a full beam master, and she takes up to 12 for day charters. Stabilizers settle her in the open west coast anchorages, a 1.9m draft gets her close in at Lavezzi, and Seabobs, paddleboards, and waterskis are aboard. From EUR 47,000 per week, she is our first call for a Corsica only week.
2. TITIAN PEARL
A EUR 6 million refit made for celebrations
TITIAN PEARL cruises the Riviera, Corsica, and Sardinia from Cannes, and her new stabilizers work at anchor and underway, so the crossing and Corsica’s open anchorages both stay calm. She is a 43m CRN fresh from a EUR 6 million, 2.5 year refit; we stepped aboard afterward and found her in mint condition, photogenic enough for a wedding, and still game for a full 70s disco party, decor and props included.
A full beam owner’s suite with private office and walk-in wardrobe leads 5 cabins for 10 guests, with 10 crew. The beach club doubles as a sea view gym, a 38ft Axopar chase tender heads the toy list, and an onboard RYA school can license guests to drive the jet ski. From EUR 160,000 per week.
3. EVEREAST
The crew that steps in as nannies
EVEREAST lists Corsica and Sardinia in her cruising grounds from Cannes, a 26 knot top speed turns the crossing into an afternoon, and stabilizers work at anchor and underway. She is a 115ft Sunseeker Predator, refitted in 2022, and the boat we name when a family asks whether the crew will help with children: they are used to stepping in as nannies, and a cot can be added.
A main deck master leads 5 cabins sleeping 11, and the salon has a fold down balcony over the water. Her 9.5m Nimbus chase tender is a second platform for toys and runs ashore, the garage holds a jet ski, Seabob, eFoil, and an electric surfboard, and a glass fronted jacuzzi sits on the sundeck. From EUR 100,000 per week.
4. GATSBY
The 100ft Filippetti we have booked ourselves
The crossing barely registers on GATSBY‘s fuel bill: her displacement hull burns about 120 liters an hour with a 3,900 mile range, unusually frugal for a 100ft motor yacht, so a Riviera to Corsica and Sardinia loop costs little to run. She is the first hull of Filippetti’s Navetta 30 line, and we have booked her ourselves, the strongest recommendation we can give a boat.
Her whole upper deck is the owner’s suite, with an office, dressing room, and private terrace; a VIP on the main deck and 4 cabins below complete 6 cabins for 12 guests, unusual capacity at 30m. Zero speed stabilizers hold her at anchor, and a Williams jet tender, jet ski, and 2 Seabobs cover the swim stops. From EUR 85,000 per week.
5. CABO
The 43m Pershing on the Riviera to Sardinia circuit
CABO is based in Genoa, directly across from Cap Corse, and at her 30 knot cruise the run to Calvi takes about 3 hours, so our clients start the week on Corsican water rather than in transit. She is Pershing’s 140 flagship, 36 knots flat out, one of the fastest charter yachts over 40m anywhere, and every quick passage buys more hours at anchor.
10 guests sleep in 5 cabins led by a full beam main deck master with its own study, the stern beach club folds open on 3 sides to sea level, and the foredeck carries the jacuzzi and bar. Captain Kelly Gordon, one of yachting’s best known female captains, leads the crew of 8, and stabilizers work at anchor and underway. From EUR 185,000 per week.
6. ASLEC 4
VAT free, but she embarks in Italy only
ASLEC 4 is the tax story here: she charters VAT exempt under Italy’s occasional charter regime, on the condition that she embarks in an Italian port only, and we flag that up front. From Cala Galera opposite Corsica, or delivered free to Olbia or Porto Cervo, Bonifacio is a short hop, and she may cruise France and Corsica. She is a 2012 Rossinavi 48m that won both ShowBoats Design Awards in 2013.
5 cabins take 10 guests around a full beam master, with 9 crew, and her 70 square meter aft deck is unusually large for 48m. 2 jet tenders, a jet ski, 2 Seabobs, a foil, and 4 kayaks fill the garage, and stabilizers hold her at anchor. From EUR 216,000 per week outside the August peak.
7. ANDIAMO
The only yacht whose whole program is this circuit
Most yachts list Corsica as one cruising area among many; ANDIAMO‘s entire published program is the Riviera, Corsica, and Sardinia, and her 4,500 mile range makes the crossing a non event. She is a 47.6m Baglietto that treats Corsica as home water, and her layout won Best Layout at the 2017 World Yachts Trophies.
12 guests take 6 cabins, and the sundeck carries a 2,200 liter glass sided pool, a real pool, not a jacuzzi; a separate forward garage keeps the beach club clear of tenders. A 10m chase boat, 2 jet skis, and an eFoil come along, a husband and wife captain and chef team leads her crew of 9, and she is the one we point to for this circuit. From EUR 255,000 per week.
8. ISABELL
206ft of classic Codecasa volume
ISABELL charters across the Mediterranean with no relocation fees, Corsica and Sardinia included, and a 6,900 mile range with stabilizers at anchor makes the crossing and open roadstead nights easy. She is yachting history: launched in 1990 as JONIKAL, Codecasa’s flagship and the yacht of Princess Diana’s last summer, brought back by a multi million euro refit with an H2 Yacht Design interior.
12 guests spread across 6 cabins, led by a master with walk-in dressing room, office, and his and hers bathrooms, and a VIP set alone on the bridge deck; 16 crew serve them. A deck jacuzzi, gym, jet skis, and eFoils are aboard, and her 7.5m tender lands all 12 ashore in a single run. From EUR 290,000 per week, our pick for a maximum boat brief.
9. AMARYLLIS
The 78m flagship that delivers down
AMARYLLIS is based in the South of France with Corsica and Sardinia in her summer grounds, and she positions for your week; at rates from USD 770,000, reaching 875,000 in season, the delivery fee we negotiate is a rounding error. She is a 78m Abeking and Rasmussen with Belle Epoque interiors by Reymond Langton and 22 crew for 12 guests, built for unhurried cruising, with stabilizers at anchor and underway.
The master occupies its own deck with a private terrace, an elevator connects the decks, and the aft beach club is a real spa: sauna, steam room, massage area, and gym. The sundeck adds a 5m color changing pool beside a jacuzzi, and the toy garage runs from an 8m waterslide and WaveRunners to Seabobs, e-foils, and 3 tenders.
10. ELYSIUM I
Modern Riva style at 110ft
ELYSIUM I lists the Riviera, Corsica, and Sardinia as her summer grounds, cruises at 18 knots with 25 flat out, so the crossing is a morning hop, and her 1.99m draft, shallow for a 110 footer, suits the Lavezzi and Bonifacio anchorages. She is a 2019 Riva 110 Dolcevita penned by Officina Italiana Design, and the style pick at this budget.
A main deck master leads 5 cabins that sleep 11 via a convertible twin with Pullman, and a baby grand piano sits in the salon, a rarity at 33m. Stabilizers work at anchor and underway, and the toys run to a jet ski, 2 supercharged Seabobs, an electric jetboard, and a 7m chase tender. From EUR 118,500 per week, she covers the brief most Corsica clients bring us.
What a Corsica Motor Yacht Week Really Costs
Most of the Corsica motor yacht briefs we book land between EUR 80,000 and 150,000 for the charter fee, and the top of this page runs well beyond that. On top of the fee come VAT, the APA, and, for most of these yachts, delivery.
VAT is where the contract choice matters. A standard MYBA contract in France carries 20% VAT. Under the ECPY transport contract the rate falls to 10% on mainland itineraries, 2.1% when you embark in Corsica, and 0% on a genuinely international itinerary. On a EUR 150,000 week that is the difference between EUR 30,000 in tax and, on the right route, none at all. Our guide to chartering from France to Sardinia with an ECPY contract walks through the numbers.
Delivery is the honest line item most listings skip: EUR 3,000 to 10,000 to position a yacht to Olbia, based on real offers we have handled, and occasionally free when the boat is repositioning anyway. Budget the APA on top; on Riviera motor yachts it typically runs 30 to 40% of the charter fee, and our APA guide explains what it pays for. The full stack, berth fees included, is in our French Riviera charter cost guide, and if this is your first superyacht week, read what to know before booking a superyacht on the Riviera before you commit.
To see the week these boats are built for, pair this list with our 7 day itinerary from Antibes to Corsica and Sardinia.
People Also Ask
Are any luxury motor yachts based in Corsica?
Almost none. LEON, a Ferretti 800 in Ajaccio, is the only luxury motor yacht on this list based on the island. The rest of the market works the way our brokers describe it: the good boats come from Portofino, the South of France, and Monaco, cruised down or delivered, and the yachts based across the strait in Olbia are mostly smaller. That is not a flaw in the plan; it is the plan.
What does it cost to have a yacht delivered to Corsica or Sardinia?
EUR 3,000 to 10,000 to Olbia on the real offers we have handled, depending on the yacht’s size and where she starts. Some owners waive the fee when the boat is repositioning anyway, but free delivery is the exception, not the rule. The fee is negotiated per booking rather than printed on a rate card, so ask early and let us push for it.
How does the ECPY contract cut the VAT on a French charter?
A standard MYBA contract in France carries 20% VAT on the charter fee. The ECPY transport contract charges 10% on mainland itineraries, 2.1% when the charter embarks in Corsica, and 0% on an international itinerary such as France to Sardinia. The contract comes with conditions on routing and documentation, which we handle, and on a 6 figure week the saving is real money.
When are the best months for a Corsica motor yacht charter?
June and September are our first recommendation: warm water, quieter anchorages, and low or mid season rates. July and August bring peak rates and the crowds to Bonifacio and Porto Cervo, though the yacht lets you have both, dinner in the busy harbor and an empty bay to yourself by night. Whatever the month, keep the days short, 2 to 3 hours of cruising at most; Corsica’s west coast hands you a new anchorage every evening.
